Software Engineering: join my meetup in Lisbon, 8th October
I previously announced my Python optimization workshop in Lisbon, on 10th October (which still has a few places). I am now pleased to add a Python/Django meetup on the Thursday before.

Join us for an informal evening of drinks and conversation hosted by Adam Johnson, Django contributor, blogger, and author of four technical books on developer experience, Git, GitHub, and Django.
Rather than a talk or workshop, this is a small networking evening for developers and software engineers to meet, swap ideas and talk about the kinds of problems Adam explores in his work: better developer workflows, tooling, testing, open source, AI, developer experience, and the little improvements that make working with software better.
There won’t be any scheduled talks — we’ll keep the evening deliberately informal and let the conversation go where people take it.
Come with questions, things you’ve learned, problems you’ve been thinking about, or simply an interest in meeting other engineers.
Drinks are available to purchase from the venue.
Places are limited to keep the evening small and conversational.
