| original entry | Venue and Hotel Details for Edition 2! |
Hi everyone 👋
We are happy to share a few more confirmed details for Django on the Med 🏖️ 2026.
The event will take place from September 23 to 25, 2026 in Pescara, Italy 🇮🇹
The sprint room is now confirmed and will be at the Hotel Plaza Pescara (Piazza Sacro Cuore 55, 65122 Pescara)
We will meet for three sprint mornings, roughly from 08:30 to 13:30.
The sprint venue is right in the city centre, very close to Pescara Centrale railway station and the bus terminal.
Of course, you are welcome to arrive earlier or stay longer if you would like
to spend more time in Pescara or explore the area. The event itself will take
place during those three mornings at Hotel Plaza.
Hotel Plaza also offers agreed rates for Django on the Med participants.
Staying there may be the simplest option, because it is the same hotel where
the sprint room is located.
The agreed rates are per room, per night, with breakfast included:
Single Room with French bed | 95 euros |
Classic Double Room for single use | 100 euros |
Comfort Double Room for single use | 120 euros |
Comfort Double or Twin Room | 138 euros |
Superior Double or Twin Room | 150 euros |
To use the agreed rates, please book directly with the hotel.

Please mention this code when booking: "Django on the Med Meeting"
Rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking. Payment is handled directly by each guest.
You are also completely free to book somewhere else. There are many hotels and
B&Bs nearby, including cheaper options and places closer to the seafront. We
suggest choosing accommodation within about 10 minutes on foot from the venue,
so it is easy for everyone to meet in the morning.
If you are not sure where to stay, feel free to contact us and we will try to help with local suggestions.
Reach out too if you’d want to share, as maybe others will too.
Participation is free, but registration is required and places are limited.
Tickets are available here:
There are only a few places left, so please register only if you are sure you can attend.
We already shared travel information in the previous newsletter, including how to reach Pescara by plane, train, bus or car.
You can find the previous newsletter here:
We'll get all of this on the website soon 😊
With the help of the local Pescara community, we are also planning some
optional afternoon activities and networking moments. We would love to show you
a bit of both the sea and the mountains around Pescara, but we will keep the
details as a small surprise for now.
We are still looking for sponsors to support the event and keep it accessible and community-driven.
If your company is interested, please contact: [email protected]
Looking forward to seeing you in Pescara 🇮🇹!
